Performance
In the new Chevrolet Trax, you'll release plenty of drive from the 1.4-liter turbocharged ECOTEC?? four-cylinder that relies on Multiport Fuel Injection and Variable Valve Timing to produce 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. An assist from the six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive gets you an EPA-estimated 31 MPG on the highway and 26 MPG in the city. An All-Wheel Drive is also available when you want maximum traction under all kinds of weather and on all types of terrain.
The StabiliTrak electronic stability control system can adjust the brakes and engine torque, so you maintain optimum control on Cary roads, especially during emergency maneuvers. It engages when the sensors detect a deviation between your intended and actual path. It also includes Traction Control, which counters slipping wheels by reducing engine power or applying brake pressure, and Brake Assist, which can detect how hard you're hitting the brake pedal and adds additional brake pressure, if needed.
Design
The athletic exterior of the new Chevrolet Trax has also been smoothed out to optimize aerodynamics and improve mileage.
